Healing and faith
From
scriptures,
we
can
clearly
see
that
there
is
a
link
between
healing
and
faith.
In
the
ministry
of
Jesus,
when
most
people
were
healed,
he
commended
their
faith
as
an
act
that
led
them
to
receiving
their
healing.
In
looking
at
the
link
between
healing
and
faith,
it’s
important
to
look
at
the
ministry
of
Jesus
as
a
key
example
and
his
operation
in
the
office
of
a
teacher.
Many
times
when
they
came
to
Jesus they called him by the name teacher because that was a major part of his ministry.
John 3:2
The
same
came
to
Jesus
by
night,
and
said
unto
him,
Rabbi,
we
know
that
thou
art
a
teacher
come
from
God:
for
no
man
can
do
these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
There
was
a
reason
Jesus
taught
the
people
before
he
ministered
healing
to
them
and
that
was
because
he
sought
to
build
their
faith.
Romans chapter ten reveals the link between healing and faith.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Luke chapter six reveals that Christ taught before he minaistered to those who were in need of healing.
Luke 6:17
And
he
came
down
with
them,
and
stood
in
the
plain,
and
the
company
of
his
disciples,
and
a
great
multitude
of
people
out
of
all
Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidona, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;
Faith causes mountains to move, according to the word of God it causes the impossible to become possible with God.
Mark 11:23-26
For
verily
I
say
unto
you,
That
whosoever
shall
say
unto
this
mountain,
Be
thou
removed,
and
be
thou
cast
into
the
sea;
and
shall
not
doubt
in
his
heart,
but
shall
believe
that
those
things
which
he
saith
shall
come
to
pass;
he
shall
have
whatsoever
he
saith.
[24]
Therefore
I
say
unto
you,
What
things
soever
ye
desire,
when
ye
pray,
believe
that
ye
receive
them,
and
ye
shall
have
them.
[25]
And
when
ye
stand
praying,
forgive,
if
ye
have
ought
against
any:
that
your
Father
also
which
is
in
heaven
may
forgive
you
your
trespasses.
[26] But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Faith
is
the
victory
that
overcomes
the
circumstances
of
the
world
and
the
devil.
Build
your
faith
with
his
word
because
that’s
where
you get the God kind of faith. Romans 10:17 declares that the only way you get faith is through the word of God, glory.
